Help share your love of the Swaner Preserve by tabling with Swaner staff at NHMU's BugFest on Saturday, August 9th or Sunday, August 10th. We're seeking volunteers to help facilitate a craft for festival visitors. If you enjoy working with children and/or chatting about how great Swaner is, please sign up below to join us! Key Responsibilities: - Invites children and other festival attendees to participate in an insect-themed craft. - Assists with explaining and teaching the craft. - Optional - shares fun facts about Swaner Preserve (a Swaner staff member will be present to do the same!) - Help with set-up and clean-up. - Volunteering will start and end at the Natural History Museum of Utah (301 Wakara Way Salt Lake City, UT 84108)

Time Commitment: - BugFest at the Natural History Museum of Utah in Salt Lake City takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 9 and Sunday, August 10th. - Sign up for a shift to help teach a craft to festival attendees. Qualifications: - Age 14 and up. - Comfortable working with children. - Enjoys making crafts. - Must be able to read and follow instructions. - Pleasant manner, good communication skills, patient and reliable. Support: - A Swaner staff person will be present to provide instruction and guidance.
