Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter

Help us celebrate Be Nice to Bugs Day with a fun-filled day of insect exploration and discovery! Volunteers will assist with leading or supporting family-friendly activity stations such as bug crafts, insect investigations, hands-on educational activities, and opportunities for guests to observe real bugs up close. This event is open-house style and runs from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Volunteers will arrive at 9:30 AM to help with setup, receive a brief orientation, and stay until 1:30 PM for cleanup. Activity station descriptions will be assigned to volunteers on the morning of the event Volunteer roles include: -Assisting with setup and takedown of activity stations -Engaging families and kids at interactive, hands-on learning stations -Restocking and organizing supplies throughout the event -Encouraging curiosity and discovery through play!
